The 'what' erm provides for businesses (the benefits) has been highlighted in many publications, but as any critic (manager) would say, "this is not enough; anyone could lay claims that lofty. The 'how' this is achieved is what these critics are interested in knowing now that it has caught their attention. They need very good reasons, why they should apply such a process looking at its associated cost and benefits on the bottom-line of their business . The 'how' is what links the process of erm on the benefits it is said to give. This explanation may very well be the incentive that businees (management) need to implement the erm process toward realizing, with reasonable assurance, their strategic objects
