The findings of the present study suggest that B. monniera
(100 and 200 mg/kg), rivastigmine (5 mg/kg), and a combination
of B. monniera and rivastigmine could be highly
beneficial in preventing the learning and memory impairment
induced by chronic administration of AlCl3. However,
the combination of B. monniera (Bacopa) with rivastigmine
was found to be more effective than either treatment alone
in preventing AlCl3-induced learning and memory deficits.
