2.1 Raw material
Vetiver grass (VG) was collected from KhonKean province, Thailand. The grass was dried in sun and then was cut into 3-4 cm. VG was milled to size 0.5-2 mm and dried in an oven at 90 ℃ overnight and stored in plastic box at room temperature.
2.2 Composition analysis of VG
VG washed with tap water and dried in sunlight. The grass was ground using a grinder to pass 35-100 mesh (0.05-0.14 mm.) and stored in desiccator.VG was characterize to determine cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin, ash and moisture content in the solid. ………………..[ ]
