For determination of inhibitory effects of CFCS on target microorganisms,
addition of crude supernatant at early exponential
phase resulted in decrease in growth of P. aeruginosa 03K711 and K.
pneumoniae 05K279 as indicated in Fig. 2. Whereas, target microorganisms
without addition of CFCS served as a negative control
were found to increase in number. Indeed CFCS inhibited the
growth of P. aeruginosa 03K711 and a slightly faster decline of K.
pneumoniae 05K279 growths.
