The way I used it was to ask the teachers well in advance of their opening sessions t0 write out the answers to the questions and then get together with me to go over their answers. I found that in these follow-up interviews (sometimes even on the telephone} I could frequently make suggestions about other procedures they might try; but most important, I found that just by having to think about what procedures they would use, overnight they became process-oriented, whereas otherwise they would be completely c0ntent-oriented.
