AN EVALUATION OF DISPERSION COEFFICIENTS 183
(i) Twenty-eight fixed and two mobile aerometric stations.
(ii) A 100-m meteorological tower, two acoustic Doppler sounders, and a doubletheodolite
T-sonde system.
(iii) Routine weather observations, solar and sky radiation, and seasonal mapping
of surface states and roughness such as bare ground, crops, and water surface.
A summary of meteorological observations is given in TableV. About 153 hours
data has been used for the validation ofv and w. Simple statistical techniques have
been used to assess the scheme performance which are detailed in the following
subsection.
