First, we compared community characters among different land
use within each vegetation type. The stem density, species density
(number of species per unit area), species richness (species number
per 2500 individuals in this study), basal area, and Shannon diversity
index were analyzed by ANOVA. All data were log transformed
in order to improve the normality and equality of variances. A v2
test was used to determine whether there were significant differences
in stem and species proportions of different growth forms.
Area- and individual-based rarefaction species accumulation
curves were generated to compare species richness across the disturbance
regimes in each vegetation types.
