The values obtained in the determination of the analytical parameters show that this method is useful for measuring α-tocopherol, γ-tocopherol, δ-tocopherol, cholecalciferol and ergocalciferol simultaneously. The method is easy to perform, and the fact that the extraction procedure is the same for all the samples makes it suitable as a method for routine determinations. UV detection proved to be suffi- ciently sensitive for the detection of all the compounds investigated. With minor modifications, the analytical system may also be applied to other functional foods based on lipid-soluble vitamins. This method is valid for stability control and monitoring of content uniformity of products.
