rotation
were carried out. Items were included in subscale
scores if they had a loading of at least 0.3 and did not load
on any other component. Variables that did not fulfil this
condition were omitted from the analyses. Solutions with
high interpretability and a low number of components
were preferred. Instead of weighting the items according
to their loading, the subscale scores were obtained by
calculating the mean of the items included in the
respective subscale, in order to relate the values to the
original scale and facilitate interpretation of frequencies of
the subscale scores.
