2Preheat the oven to 180ᴼC/350ºF.
Grease and line a 2-pound loaf tin.

Sift the flour into a bowl, then add the milk, vanilla.e, sugar and eggs. Beat with an electric mixer for up to 1 minute, or until the ingredients are combined with a lighter colour.

Pour in the melted butter, then add the mashed banana and beat for a further minute or until well combined.

Pour into the tin and bake in the oven for 1 hr 10 mine if it's cooked by inserting a skewer. If it comes out clean then its done, if not put back in for another 2 to 5 minutes.

After let it cool for 5-10 minutes in the pan. Then tip it out and allow to cool on a wire cooling rack. Allow to cool completely if you are adding icing or frosting.

Serve. The cake can be eaten warm or cold. Store in an airtight container and eat within 3 days.
If eaten warm, butter melts nicely into the slices for added flavor.
