Analysis of variance tables
Minitab uses the analysis of variance (ANOVA) procedure to calculate variance components, which are then used to estimate the percent variation appears later in the Gage R&R table.
The two-way ANOVA table includes terms for the participants’ heads (Subject), the technicians who take the The Two-way ANOVA table indicates there is no overall significant difference between technicians (p-value = 0.305). However, on a subject-by-subject basic there is a significant difference in how the technicians measure (the Subject*Technician term; p-value = 0.000). As expected, there is a significant difference between subjects (the Subject term; p-value = 0.000) which indicates that the variability between the Subjects is significantly greater than the repeatability variation (See help to get more info about how to calculate the variance components).
