GMCI recognizes the inner potential of WR as a formidable gold, gemstones and jewellery maker and retailer despite its young age. With WR’s realized capability, GMCI would want to capitalize on its strengths and skills to push its products and services throughout the South East Asian region first and eventually towards the global market.
The partnership allows GMCI to inject additional working capital and human talents from its contacts worldwide to grow WR in rapid and feasible ways.
As GMCI has existing resources related to stocks of precious metals and human talents who are experienced and knowledgeable to assist the growth of WR’s kind of industry, GMCI intends to expand the growth of WR to worldwide status by:
a) Accelerating the growth by utilizing existing resources.
With GMCI’s existing stockpile of precious metals and human resources, WR is the right catalyst to utilize them, proven to be an effective way to kick start the business by beginning ‘ahead of the curve’. This saves a lot of working capital and it can be instead channeled to hiring and improving the human capital.
b) Establish a prominent presence in Malaysia first, then worldwide with shorter time frame.
With additional assets and resources backing from GMCI, WR will be more focused in opening additional outlets in prominent locations in Peninsular Malaysia. It is targeted by the end of 2016, WR will have 10 outlets and about 100 staff (average of 10 staff per outlet, for front end and back end). This is feasible in view that with the partnership with GMCI, WR need not worry about the constraints of raw materials and the lack of human talents required to craft the goods and to service their clients.
c) Expansion towards global market made easy.
With GMCI’s extensive network of contacts from globalbased influences, it is assured that the road to global presence for WR is made easier. This plan will be conducted after The Management is satisfied with the outcome of WR’s performance in Malaysian region.
