Fragrance Review
Bulgari Pour Homme Soir, the third variation of the theme commenced by Bvlgari in 1996 with Bvlgari Pour Homme and continued in 1999 with Bvlgari Extreme is a “rich, elegant, woody scent aimed at charismatic men looking for a refined and sensuous evening fragrance”, according to the description on the official website.
I’m not so into evening perfumes, but if I was to select one, I would certainly take into account this Bvlgari essence. Bulgari Pour Homme Soir smelled nice on the blotter however upon spraying the fragrance onto my skin it revealed an extremely pleasant character. Characterized as an ‘irresistible mix of sensuality and elegance’, Bulgari Pour Homme Soir opens with Darjeeling tea accord which is powerful and refreshing. Moreover, this is also the dominant note of this fragrance. The mid development includes notes of papyrus wood which confers it that elegant personality. And finally, in the dry down are encompassed notes of rich warm amber and musk.
Bulgari Pour Homme Soir was introduced in 2006 in the woody floral musk olfactory group, presented in a bottle that resembles with the first 2 editions of Pour Homme theme. The transparent grey glass is excellent completed by the silver stopper which oozes elegance coupled with sensuality. The package, in black and silver chromatic is decorated with the famous round symbol of Bvlgari. Moreover, the characterization from the official website mentions that “The understated and essential design of the fragrance’s bottle communicates luxury, prestige and masculine elegance.”
