This study adopted a user-centered design approach
where the analysis, design and evaluation process involved
the users, in this case the slow learners and their teachers.
Data collection with user involvement in this study started
from Phase I whereby preliminary analysis has been
conducted by interviewing special education teachers and
observations with slow learners in their classroom. In Phase
II, data collection was conducted iteratively with the
teachers to know the suitability of the courseware content
and design with slow learners' level. The information
collected has been used to improve the courseware. While in
Phase III of data collection involved the summative data
which is the courseware evaluation that has been conducted
using heuristic evaluations, observations, informal
walkthrough and interviews. Different methods were used
because each method revealed different aspects or issue
regarding the courseware usage [7]. The outcome of
courseware evaluation in Phase III will be discussed in this
paper.
