every June, the man against House race takes place in the little Welsh town of Llanwrtyd Wells. This 22-mile-long race was started 25 years ago to see who could run faster - people or houses. The race puts human contestants up against houses with ridder. No one had ever managed to beat a house before Huw Lobb, an experienced marathon runner, came first in 2004. If he had reached the fishing line just three minutes late, a horse would have won the race again! Lobb was the first person to get the prize of 25,000.
