A few days before the trial was to begin in the civil lawsuit involving AtT and Charn’s executor, the accounting firm offered to make a sizable payment to Charn’s estate to settle the case. Charn’s executor accepted the offer only after AtT’s partners extended a personal apology to members of the Charn family for the unfortunate incident involving Ken and Charn.
