significant differences (P= 0.057) among salinity
treatments. In the second trial, survival of fish in the 5
ppt treatment was significantly (P= 0.046) lower
(68.3%) than fish in the 15 and 30 ppt treatments (90%
and 92.5%, respectively). Of the mortalities in the 5 ppt
treatment, approximately 44% of all mortalities occurred
in the last week of the study while in the other
two treatments only one fish was lost during the same
time period (Figs. 1 and 2).
