The bank already offers special financial products for SMEs that invest in the government's special economic zones (SEZs) and at industrial estates.
According to the special loan plan, the Exim Bank offers a longer term of up to 15 years and exemptions from loan fees.
For the stimulus loan plan for SMEs that invest in SEZs in border areas, the bank offers special loans with low interest of 2.5 points below the prime rate in the first year.
In the second to eighth years, interest is 1.5 points below the prime rate. In the ninth to 15th years, interest is a point below the prime rate.
The current prime rate is 6.5%, Mr Manas said.
