I woke up the next day and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face. I decided to wear a skirt and a blouse. I combed my hair and let it fall naturally. I didn’t apply any make-up, because I didn’t feel like it. I grabbed my handbag and walked downstairs. No one was awake yet, so I decided to make coffee and breakfast for myself. I checked my messages while eating. There were no new messages, which made me feel relieved. I was glad that I had blocked their numbers. I finished my breakfast, grabbed the house keys and left home. I hummed along to some songs, while I walked to the photography museum. I arrived at the museum 20 minutes later and was one of the first visitors actually. “Good morning” a cute, but sleepy looking guy at the counter said. “Good morning, one ticket please” I smiled. “Let me guess…either college assignment or passionate about photography?” he chuckled. “The second” I said. “Awesome! Student or professional?” he asked, while he printed a ticket for me. “In between, I’m an intern” I said, handing him 8 euros. “That’s nice” he said and handed me my ticket. “Thanks” I smiled and left the counter. “Hey, wait!” I heard the guy yell. I turned around and saw him coming out of the counter booth. “You forgot your wallet” he smiled. “Oh damn, thank you so much” I sighed in relief. “Olivia huh?” he smiled. I looked at him strangely. “Sorry, your id card was sticking out of your wallet and I saw your name” he said, looking a little embarrassed. “Oh!” I chuckled. “I’m Luca” he said, offering me his hand. “Olivia, but you already know that” I grinned, shaking his hand. “Want to hang out sometime? I’m a little into photography myself and there is this expo in like 2 days” he mumbled. “I don’t think so, sorry” I said. “Just as friends, no funny business I promise” he said, sounding sincere. “I’ll think about it” I said. “Let me write down my number” he said and ran back to the booth to get a pen and paper. He quickly scribbled his number on the paper.
