In terms of the factors associated with the level of successful aging
index, waist circumference [b-coefficient (95% CI): −0.03 (−0.04;
−0.02)] and residence in urban as compared to rural areas [−0.43
(−0.64; −0.23)] was inversely associated with the successful aging
score, while a positive association was observed with male gender
[0.49 (0.26; 0.71)], alcohol [0.50 (0.29; 0.71)] and tea [0.20 (0.01;
0.39)] consumption. (See Table 4.)
