The results of path analysis are summarized in Table III. First, affect was regressed against five tangible quality constructs (i.e., Food and service, Staff, Ambience and social, Cleanliness, and Accessibility), The omnibus F-test suggested independent variables had a significant impact on affect with 49 percent of the variance in affect being accounted for by these independent variables. Among all the independent variables, only food and services, staff, and accessibility were significant at the 0.05 level. That is, holding all else constant, an improvement in the food and service
construct or employee or accessibility construct will increase the guests’ affect.
