Good Morning my dearest ladies and gentlemen!
So a little birdy told me that there is still confusion about our final...guuuys....c'mon! ;) so once more here are the ANSWERS to the finals.
Try to REMEMBER them and then tick them in the multiple choice exercises.
I know I'm being one cheaty teacher here but you've been doing great work this semester and spent so much time working on amazing projects and presentations and I was (and still am) super proud of you, and I know that exam week is super stressful for you and that you have to study A LOT for other subjects so I thought I'd help you out a little and make at least our exam easy cheesy.
lovelovelove and jubjubjub Teacher Li ;)
FINALS - PREVIEW
Part 1: Comparing and Contrasting - Multiple Choice
The Questions in the Final Exam are the same but I changed the choices and the order.
Here are the correct answers which you should try to remember and find among the other ‘wrong’ answers.
Before you start your essay you have to
pick 2 topics
research
draw a venn diagram
The Introduction presents
basic information about your topics
Your thesis argument and 3 points of comparison
The Body can be organized according to the
subject by subject method
point by point method
Subject by Subject means
comparing one topic after the other
listing all arguments for one topic before moving on to the other topic
Point by Point Method means
comparing your 2 topics at the same time
choosing one argument and then comparing both subjects in one paragraph
The Conclusion should
round up your essay and focus on the similarities
Focus on objective facts
Arguments are
Topics that you want to compare your Subjects on
Comparing means
focussing on the similarities
Contrasting means
focussing on the differences
Part 2: What does ‘analysing data’ mean? True or False Exercise
remember this paragraph, all the correct and TRUE answers are found in here within this paragraph.
Analysis of data is a process of inspecting, cleaning and transforming data ; with the goal of discovering useful information; suggesting conclusions, and supporting decision making. Data analysis has multiple facets and approaches, encompassing diverse techniques under a variety of names, in different business, science, and social science domains.
Part 3: Character Analysis you have to write the answers down yourself in text-style
Pick and remember 5 categories on how a character can be analysed as I will ask you to write 5 categories down. - that means - REMEMBER 5 of the underlined words/phrases ;)
physical appearance of the character
the language that the character uses throughout the work
how the character changes or grows throughout the plot of the story
the character’s goals or ambitions
the background of the character
How the character's past experience influences what he or she does or says
What values the character shows through words or actions
How his or her choice of language changes
the personality of the character
the struggle or conflict that the character faces
analyze the relationships that the character has with others in the story.
