Please kindly note and encourage the following actions to be taken as according to our Claim Time line.
1. Insured needs to seize all further shipment. Please note that the shipments after the expiry date of MEP are not covered; any further shipment after the expiry of MEP would be on the Insured’s own risk.
2. At this point, we encourage the Insured to involve third party – either the lawyer / debt collector to following up the payment. We refer to the condition on contribution to legal cost that , the third party needs to be involved no later than 90 days after the MEP expiry, or else, the Insured will not be able to reimburse the legal cost from QBE.
3. The evidence of getting Third party involved in the collection process shall be updated with the notifiable event to update the O/S on monthly basis ka.
4. In case there is the negotiation on repayment plan for the O/S , or the promised payment date, please advise us immediately. Our account manager needs to approve the repayment plan or the acknowledge of Promised payment ka.
