Everyone can be the leader, but not everyone can be a good leader. Leaders are not bosses that expect and order, but leaders will motivate and aim their team members. Some people are innate leaders, for example; they can control others and can make the great decision. However, not all people will be the innate leader, so they can develop themselves by learning and self-improvement. Three things that can make people to be good leaders are having a positive attitude, being a lifelong learner, and being a good communicator.
Firstly, good leaders should have the positive attitude. If you are a leader, you should believe that everything is possible and use reason rather than emotion. Winston Churchill, the famous leader in The World War II period, said that “The price of leadership is responsibility to stay positive whether you feel like it or not” (As cited by Sinclair, 2011). When you face with the problem, you have to think that every problem always has at lease one way to be solved. You should focus to find solutions and think that the obstacle occurs for challenge your team. Moreover, most employees would trust the leaders who think positive.
