The shift supervisors can tell you who are your key players.When you start
deploying the RFID solutions, you’ll need to make sure that you have access to a
worker or a supervisor to assist you with deployment and/or troubleshooting,
and you should familiarize this person or persons with the equipment sufficiently
so that they can help you resolve any minor issues around the RFID system.
If you can train key employees who are well respected among their peers,
you become the second-level support, limiting the amount of calls you get at 2
o’clock in the morning: “Hey! This is not working! What do I do?” Instead of
them calling you, they can ask a knowledgeable coworker trained by you for help
in solving many problems. A shift supervisor must approve the engagement of
such personnel in your endeavors.
