Response Rate
Of the 122 companies that were contacted for participation
in the survey, 30 use able responses were received, giving an
overall response rate of 25%.3 While this appears low, it is
consistent with the 20-35% response rates typical of these
kinds of internet surveys and the responses received by other
surveys conducted in academic research. (for example,
Kittleson,1997; Cook, Heath & Thompson, 2000; Kwak &
Radler, 2002; University of Texas, 2007;)
