The children’s’ responses on each activity demonstrated that experiencing resulted always an increase in understanding (Figure 1a,b, c). This increase depends on whether the scientific knowledge had known previously or not. If the information was not known previously (like in the activity called “How does parachute fly?”), the percent increase in success of the activity reaches a value of 84%, but if it was known from the participants’ daily life (as in the case of “Getting introduced with magnet” named activity), the increase in success lowered down to 34%.
