Discussion
The prevalence of bradyarrhythmia in women of repro- ductive age is 1/20 000.1 It may be suspected in asymp- tomatic patients by counting the pulse or it may manifest with clinical complaints, such as dyspnea, presyncope and syncope, and thereafter diagnosed by electrocardiogram and a 24-h Holter. In some cases, bradyarrhythmias are attributed to the reduction in the sinus rhythm frequency after inferior vena cava compression by the gravid uterus.
