As per revised hood flow rates given by on 21st December 2015 Japanese kitchen, 0.25 m/s and 0.5 m/s speeds are considered for fresh air supply through an additional diffuser. Accordingly diffuser is sized near the Hood. The size of the hood is comparatively large and it should be approved by the interior consultant. For level 12 Indian kitchen area, 0.25/0.5 m/s fresh air speed cannot be considered since the space for diffuser is not adequate. Therefore minimum 1 m/s should be considered to accommodate the diffuser in the Indian kitchen area which is deviated from ERMS specification.
