About three-quarters of our world's food crops require pollination from bees. However, there has been a growing concern on this issue because great numbers of honeybees disappeared mysteriously in many countries in the last decade. There could be different factors leading to the increase of the colony losses. Many biologists suspect that an increasing use of harmful chemicals is the major cause of bee losses.Since more food crops are being treated with chemicals like pesticides and
herbicides,When they are exposed to these chemicals.they eventually died. At the same time ,some believe that harmful radiations cause a dramatic drop of bee population.
