Refrigeration, by definition, is the process of lowering the temperature of an item below what it would have normally been by
storing it in a system that is designed to cool or freeze its contents. Contemprary refrigerators that utilize compressor based cooling fail to
retain their efficiency when their capacity is reduced. In this context, our project aims at providing an alternate, more efficient, means of
cooling by making use of the Thermoelectric Effect as opposed to the conventional methods that are prevalent today.
