Time Management
Examine your work-space and daily routines to look for time savers. Do you spend time away from your desk making several trips a day to the copy machine? Perhaps there's a chatty co-worker that you pass on the way there. If possible, consolidate the documents you must copy and reduce the number of trips. Organize your desk so you don't have to waste time searching for papers, messages or the stapler. Look for other efficiencies, such as reducing the amount of time spent responding to e-mails; keep the responses you do have to send short and succinct. Invite the sender to call you rather than spending time composing a long e-mail.
