The club's former left-back says the ex-Borussia Dortmund boss can lay firm foundations at Anfield missing ever since Rafa Benitez left the club back in 2010
Former Liverpool defender Emiliano Insua believes new Reds manager Jurgen Klopp wiill bring stability back to Anfield for the first time since the Rafa Benitez era.
Klopp was appointed earlier this month after Liverpool lost patience with Brendan Rodgers and the arrival of the German coach has created much expectation on Merseyside.
Insua, who played for Liverpool between 2007 and 2011, believes his former side have made a great decision.
"I'm happy he has joined," he told Goal in an exclusive interview. "When I watched him at Borussia Dortmund, I loved how his team played. They were very attractive [to watch].
"Obviously he had a lot of great players as well, but he kept the team at the top and he was there for eight years I think. He even came close to winning the Champions League. It must be the way his works, his charisma - and I'm happy that Liverpool have him now."
