Consumer Care
Suara Konsumen is the Company’s dedicated consumer care service. Through Suara Konsumen, we seek to strengthen the relationship between the Company and our consumers and customers by responding to their inquiries and complaints about our products, and increasing their satisfaction with our products.
Suara Konsumen’s Consumer Care Line is open five days a week during working hours. Consumers are encouraged to use the Care Line to offer suggestions and express satisfaction as well as for complaints and inquiries. Callers’ details are kept strictly confidential.
Feedback is handled according to strict protocols. On the frontline are Consumer Advisory Service (CAS) Agents, who receive the feedback and respond immediately, where possible, using the product knowledge database. If the CAS Agent cannot give a response, the issue is referred to the relevant department. Complaints are categorized as normal, high priority and emergency, and the response is coordinated with relevant divisions through identified contact persons.
The feedback received through the Consumer Care Line generates valuable insights that are communicated throughout the Company in Monthly and Online Reports for each brand. A Top Ten Feedback list is submitted to senior management every month for their review.
The performance of Suara Konsumen is monitored through frequent spontaneous checks by ‘mystery callers’ to ensure that call handling procedures comply with the protocols. The system is evaluated through periodic Consumer Satisfaction Studies. All complaints and inquiries received in 2013 were dealt with satisfactorily.
Procurement of Goods and Services

All prospective suppliers undergo an audit to assess their performance on reliability, quality management, environment management, human rights and other social issues set out in the Business Partner Code and the Sustainable Agriculture Code. In addition, suppliers are required to comply with the Company’s health, safety and environmental protection standards.
