According to Thai learning culture, students feel more comfortable if guidance is given by teacher (Chinnawongs, 2001). Peer feedback may cause students’ pressure and some students may not believe in feedback of their peers. However, Chinnawong found that peer response is useful and can help writers improve their writing. It was also supported by Padgate (2001) that peer response enhance writing effectiveness. Additionally, it saves teacher’s time and encourages students to make good writing. When they read their peers’ writing, they will see same problems in their own writing. They will learn several writing styles as readers, and they will know how to make readers understand as writers. Their attitudes, as well as their confidence, toward writing will increase. However, peer feedback does not help students to write appropriately because it rarely gives guidance for revision.
