Security relates to protecting the online customer from deception and financial losses. Whereas privacy relates to protection of personal details and the explicit and implicit agreement not to exchange or sell the personal information gathered from users during the service experience (Parasuraman et al., 2005). This factor is significant and specific to online shopping.
