The water vapor transmission properties of the PVA film and PAF/PVA/PEG film are investigated to evaluate the effect of the PAF content on the water vapor barrier properties of the films. The water vapor transmission rate (WVTR)[WVTR ]. The water vapor transmission rates of the PVA and PAF films are shown in Figure 4c water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) measures the penetration of moisture through the films. WVTR for the film was calculated and the results. The flour-based composite film showed the highest water vapor transmission rate at (408.98 ± 40.60 g/m2 ∙ day). The flour/PVA formulations causes a significant increase in the WVTR, which is reflected in a decrease in the materials’ barrier capacity.[WVTR2 ]
