The aim of our study was to increase the knowledge about the
ontogeny of fruits and seeds ofJ. curcasfor a better understanding of
triacylglyceride biosynthesis. In this study we analyzed the anatomical
structure of both male and femaleflowers at different times (days)
after anthesis, as well as the details of external pollen grain morphology,
and the characterization of embryo development at early stage.
