Koh Chang is located in Trat, 315km southeast of Bangkok.

Air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned buses are available to Trat from Ekamai Eastern Bus Terminal and Mo Chit Bus Terminal. Visit home.transport.co.th.
An alternative is to take a public van from a station not far from Rajavithi Hospital at Victory Monument. Travel time is about five hours.
Ferry services to Koh Chang are available in Laem Ngop district.
A ferry from Centre Point Ferry Pier (call 039-538-196) leaves every hour from 6am-7pm. Another ferry service at Aow Thammachat (call 039-518-588) departs every 45 minutes from 6.30am-5pm.
Both ferries offer transportation to the island for vehicles. Last is Tha Laem Ngop (call 039-538-084).
The ferry leaves every hour from 9am-5pm and is for passengers only.
