In conclusion, since the Internet is a rich source of information, teachers should encourage high-school students to use the Internet during their school hours when they can be supervised. For example, teachers of computer classes could teach high-school students in the Internet class how to use the Internet properly, and suggest interesting, educating and healthy websites for the students. Teachers should assign Internet-based homework, where the students can find information and answer questions through the Internet. This way, students may learn how to spend time using the Internet effectively to improve their English proficiency which will accordingly improve their study achievement.
