Accordingly to Tesco organized the interview session at KKN to screen whom should be fit for new RDC, the following are key initial summary – but it is not yet confirmed in official.
a) There are 3 staff who are passed the interview, which are Mr. Saiyaphol (W/H Mgr), Mrs. Siriyakorn (Team Mgr.) as well as Mrs. Valaiporn (Inventory)
b) Mrs Valaiporn need to be attend training course on 16th Oct at Sam Khok DC
c) Another 3 Shift Managers are not passed on ORWMS system. (subject to be those not passing have to go on PDP -Performance Development Plan within 2 week, after that Tesco will come to interview again)
d) 5 Planners have to be learn more on ORWMS due to Tesco doesn’t have plan to use planner in their organization, hence Planner have potential to move to receiving and picking instead
e) Another 3 staff who works on inventory not yet finalized, Tesco will inform in next 2 week.
f) Operative staff were passed 12 from 18 (6 staff are not passed), which will be working as Reach Truck driver.
Next Steps
a) After Mrs Valaiporn is on her training at Sam Khok DC, the inventory staff rotating will be charged to 12 hrs./shift
b) On November, Tesco will cutoff HV in KKN – only Express trucking will be operated in KKN hub.
c) Expect 6 operative would be transfer to work at new RDC first (this will be according to KKN volume)
