Miss Tidapa Remembered Next
A university student’s death brought about the making of this trust. About Shields’ staff member Miss Tidapa Prompiang (1993-2014) are these words. Aged just 21, she was the passenger on a motorcycle driven by her twin sister when a low-speed crash occurred throwing Tidapa, nicknamed Pie, into the path of oncoming traffic fatally. Never before did they have a traffic accident. Physical injuries for her surviving sister Tidarut “Por” were not severe.
Green energy was Tidapa’s study major as a university senior. Fund maker Rodney, an investor in ExxonMobilEsso oil company, asked her what is practical usefulness of green energy. Electric cars make no sound to alert pedestrians and bicyclists seen as “nuisances” endangered by motorists.
Missed now are felt-tip markers that dried out when Tidapa did not close them tightly. On her last day we noticed a box had been torn in hasty opening; she admitted to this misdeed; that box now is saved permanently as a remembrance of her, our Sweet Pie.
Twin Por inherited Pie’s duty of lighting Rodney’s electronic fireplace.
Our twins were close together in taking care of each other usually going about as a pair.
In photos Tidapa tilted her head to the side ever so slightly. Left-handed was she as is Rodney. Hair with bangs covered her forehead. See attached photo of Tidapa now gone from us. If only the clock would turn back, redirect for just minutes, going back in time.
“Happy!! in time” is what Tidapa wrote at her Skype address. “Happy!! forever” is our wish for her now.
