Description:
This is a stunning formal child's blue hakama with a gold chrysanthemum motif.
The hakama is secured by four straps (himo); two longer himo attached on either side of the front of the garment, and two shorter himo attached on either side of the rear. The front ties are first brought to the back, then to the front, then tied at the back in a knot. The back himo are brought around to the front. The ends of the ties should be of equal lengths. The hakama should then fall
approximately to the ankles. Hakama have seven deep pleats, two on the back and five on the front.
Both interesting and beautiful, this item would make a great addition to your collection!

Flaws:
It seems like both side panels are a little faded compared to the pleated section. I am not sure if this is part of the design or a flaw. Please refer to Picture 5.
