An increase of one week in
weaning age was associated with a 0.9 kg weight
increase at 10 weeks of age(R2=0.51;Po0.05). An
increase of 1 kg in weaning weight was associated
with an increase in10-week weight of 2.3 kg
(R2=0.51;Po0.001), 2.2 kg (R2=0.51;Po0.001)and
1.8 kg (R2=0.51;Po0.001)for pigs weaned at 3 , 4 and
5 weeks of age respectively.
