The user experience measurement and evaluation method
became more interesting when some researchers studies and
developed a user experience measurement tools like
questionnaire. In 2009, H. Vaataja and V. Roto developed a set
of user experience questionnaire called Attrack-Work [5]. This
questionnaire was used to support evaluate of user experience
of mobile system in the context of mobile news journalism.
The questionnaire used 5 points semantic differential scale with
2 anchors to access the user’s perception on pragmatic and
hedonic qualities and also overall judgment of appeal.
Participants of the study were graduate students of journalism
and visual journalism who were taking a project course on web
publishing. The results found the Attrak-Work questionnaire a
useful tool to be used in this manner especially for the
evaluation of the hedonic qualities. Sequence from that, again
H. Vaataja and V. Roto in 2010 adapted the Attrack-Work
questionnaire to access user’s pragmatic and hedonic quality
perceptions and judgment of appeal with a mobile
questionnaire [6]. From the 36 items include in the original
questionnaire, only 14 items were selected and the scale are
change from semantic differential scale to 5 points Likert scale
with one anchor. From the study, some elements need to be
considered and needs more attention like questionnaire length,
layout and structure and mobile context related issues such as
screen size.
