newspaper” and “[Twitter gives us] branding of the breaking news as ours. It’s the
first stamp we can put on it.” Broadcasters were more likely to say something like
this television reporter: “I have been surprised how sources have sought me out
on Twitter. They’d seen I was working on a story [on Twitter] and contacted me to
contribute info. It’s happened multiple times.”
