The 7 P's of Compartment Syndrome:
Pain: Usually the first symptom and is out of proportion to physical findings.
Pallor
Paresthesia
Paralysis: late sign
Poikilothermia: cold to the touch
Pulselessness: usually a late and ominous sign
Pressure: tense, rigid extremity
The 2 most common sites for CS is the forearm and leg.
Compartment syndrome can lead to Volkmann's contracture.
