Each appraiser vs standard: assessment agreement
Because a standard is provided for each identification, you can compare the appraisers’ result with these “true” values. Nina matches the standard all 50 times, Alex matches 48 (twice mismatches), Wendy matches 47 (three mismatches), and David matches 46 (four mismatches).
Each appraiser vs standard: assessment agreement
The Assessment Disagreement table displays appraiser disagreement with the standard response for each appraiser.
The # A/R column contains the number of fingerprints that the appraiser passed on all trials but should have failed (type II error).
The # R/A column contains the number of fingerprints that the appraiser failed on all trials but should have passed (type I error).
The # Mixed column indicates how many times that the appraiser disagreed with him/herself across trials.
