Hedgehogs have been a large issue within the Pleasantville community for the last six months. Attempts to fight this problem have been met with varying levels of success. Dr. Woofer’s gigantic vacuum strategy was a marked failure, while local inventor Steve Tyskiewicz’s method of putting the beasts in cages has shown a little more promise. Other smaller initiatives, such as loading the rodents into vans and dumping them in neighboring Danville, also give us some hope. In order to defeat this problem, though, we need concrete work—and lots of action from the community. Other towns like Jerryville prove this.
