6. CONCLUSION AND FUTURE WORK
We have proposed a software pipeline for motion animation generation that effectively overcomes the skeleton incompatibility among mocap data, shape models and animation software. Created 3D motion animations are not only visually realistic but also kinematically accurate when compared with other traditional animation generation methods. This work provides a useful tool as well as a rich set of training data for researchers in the field of vision-based human motion analysis. Its usefulness and effectiveness have been manifested in our recent human motion estimation research. In the future, we will study the influence of the binding parameters during skin binding and an objective measurement for visual quality assessment.
